Who can remap my car in Manchester?
Here at Auto Map Manchester we can remap your car, we have three different remaps we can offer you depending on if you have a Petrol, Diesel or even an electric vehicle. It can all be done under one roof with 2 – 3 hours.
Whilst you have your car in for a remap with us you are welcome to wait with the car or alternatively we do offer a free drop off and collection service Intu Trafford Centre.
Does remapping damage your car? Is a Remap safe?
In a simple answer no it doesn’t cause any damage to your car. When we remap your car we are simply enhancing the performance of your engine. A remap from Auto Map Manchester is intended to make the most of your vehicle by overwriting the ECU’s default settings with new software which can be programmed to enhance your vehicles overall performance.
How much power can I get out a Remap?
This is always down to your vehicle and what your vehicle can handle. It also depends on whether your car has a turbo or super charger or whether it is naturally aspirated.
How much MPG will I save Remapping my Car?
This all depends on how you drive it and the style of driving you down. Most of all our customers see a 8 – 15% increase on their MPG after an Economy Remap or Hybrid Remap. If you travel short journeys around a busy area then you wont see much of a difference and an Economy Remap may not be for you.
How long does it take to Remap my car?
In most cases from start to finish, we can have your vehicle remapped in under two hours. Some may take a little longer but we usually can tell you this from after we have done a Read/ID on your vehcile. We also offer a free taxi to the Trafford Centre whilst you wait and collect you when its finished. How’s that for service?
Can you Remap electic cars?
Beleive it or not! You can now remap some electric cars and the database is continuously growing
